About No Village

No Village exists because real life is often designed around an assumption that somebody else will help.

Sometimes they do. Sometimes they cannot. Sometimes there is nobody there.

No Village creates practical, plain-English guidance and scaffolding for people navigating systems without reliable support. That might mean dealing with healthcare, SEND, paperwork, appointments, complaints, evidence, money or the everyday administration that becomes harder when there are not enough hands around you.

The aim is not to tell people to become more resilient or more organised.

It is to make difficult systems easier to understand, reduce the amount you have to hold in your head, and help you identify the next useful step.

The No Village approach

Awareness

Naming the hidden assumptions systems make about the support people have.

Support

Creating practical tools, scripts, trackers and guidance that reduce mental load.

Challenge

Helping people understand systems, ask clearer questions and challenge barriers when needed.

Scaffolding helps you navigate the system. It does not make you responsible for fixing the system.
